Introduction

eFax is a division of J2 Global Communications, which is based in California. It offers business and individual Internet faxing for both large and small volumes, throughout the globe. Fax and toll-free numbers can be provided for a total of 46 different countries.

There are two levels of service that are offered to small and medium-sized businesses. These are known as eFax Plus and eFax Pro.

eFax Plus – allows customers a total of 150 incoming fax pages, then each additional page is charged at a fixed rate of $.10. For outbound pages, the initial 150 pages are free. Additional pages are charged at a fixed rate per page ($.10 per page). If your number is toll-free, each page is charged individually on a fixed rate.

eFax Pro – allows customers a total of 200 incoming fax pages each month, then each additional page is charged at a fixed rate of $.10. For outbound pages, 200 free pages are provided each month, then each additional page is charged at a fixed rate of $.10. A toll-free number will disallow any free pages.

Digitized Signature capability – customers can sign a fax online
Large file sharing – send files that are too large for email
• Fax by email
• Encrypted fax options
Fax preview – view your faxes prior to sending them
Address book – to easily search contacts
• Account interface page
• All sent faxes are stored
• Fax from up to 5 different email addresses
• Software is provided for creating and editing and sending your faxes. The software can be run on Windows, Mac and can also be run from a USB drive.
• Faxes may be sent through Microsoft Office

Pricing

Each of these plans will charge an initial setup fee. Lifetime storage is included with both plans.

eFax Plus – The cost is $16.95 per month. If an annual member is purchased, the cost is $14.13 per month (a savings of two months). The setup fee is $10.

eFax Pro – The cost is $19.95 per month. If an annual member is purchased, the cost is $16.63 per month (a savings of two months). The setup fee is $19.95.

Note that the limit set for data transference is 60 seconds. Faxes that take longer than 60 seconds to transmit are counted as additional pages.
